Reflections of the Past
I lived as an American expatriate in Liberia for 11 years and I've written a memoir of experiences that I had in Liberia. I'm wondering if there are any other expatriates that lived in Liberia out there that want to talk about our experiences.
Your writing pulls me right into the moment. Are you collecting stories from other expatriates who were there during that time? What about the people you refer to in the pieces? Are you in contact with them? What would happen if they added to your pieces, creating a sort of collage of perspectives?
I would love to have others comment on the blog. This is a medium I'm just exploring so I'm open to playing with it any number of ways and certainly encourage other comments.
